How an AI decides who to name
Be the business the sources agree on.
An AI assistant can't visit your shop. When it's asked for a recommendation it reads what the web says about you and summarizes the consensus. If your website, your Business Profile, your reviews and the local directories all describe the same business, the same services, the same strengths, you become easy to recommend. If they disagree or say nothing specific, you get skipped.
Google has said plainly that its AI features rely on the same fundamentals as regular search, with no special optimization or special markup required. That matches what we see. The good news for businesses that already do SEO properly: most of this is the same foundation, done more carefully, plus a layer of work aimed at how models read and quote. Nobody can promise a mention; what we can do is make you the easiest business to recommend.
GEO · 01Be quotablePlain, factual sentences a model can lift: what you do, where, for whom, and what it costs. No fog.
GEO · 02Be consistent everywhereName, address, phone, hours and services identical on your site, Google, Bing, Apple Maps, Yelp and the directories that feed the models.
GEO · 03Be reviewed for specifics"Great service" tells a model nothing. "Fixed our furnace the same day, fair price" tells it exactly when to recommend you. We help you ask for the right reviews.
GEO · 04Answer the real questionsPeople ask AIs full sentences: "how much does X cost in Ontario", "is it worth repairing or replacing". Pages that answer those, with structured data behind them, are the pages that get cited.
